Well subgit worked well with projects using standard install/import pattern :
trunk = trunk:refs/heads/master
branches = branches/*:refs/heads/*
tags = tags/*:refs/tags/*
shelves = shelves/*:refs/shelves/*
SVN import (install), update from SVN to Git, update to Git from SVN,
even merge requests.
Sadly, it seems Gitlab is not pleased with packed-refs
This is a serious show stopper to use gitlab + subgit.
