URI on the driver,
+ * by asking the classpath's hadoop-azure the questions
+ * `AzureBlobFileSystemStore.initializeClient` asks, and encodes the answer as
the options the
+ * native Azure store reads.

+ * Hadoop's `AbfsConfiguration` decides which mechanism applies and where each
value comes from
+ * (container-, account- or globally-scoped keys, credential providers,
`${...}` references). The

`comet.azure.*` markers,

throws becomes an

its own.

+ * `AbfsAuthParitySuite` pins the outcome of every configuration shape per
hadoop-azure version
+ * (`spark/src/test/resources/abfs-auth-parity/expected-<version>.json`) and

those files after a

Review Comment:
   > Could presence detection short-circuit once the mechanism is configured,
and defer additional redaction lookups until a failure occurs?

Done in b4d73d2e5. Deciding whether the account is configured now stops at
the first key that says so, checking the keys that never go through
`getPassword` first, so a successful resolution reads only what the selected
mechanism needs. For your SharedKey case the resolver now makes the same three
`getPassword` calls as Hadoop's own `getStorageAccountKey`, down from 48;
`AbfsAuthResolverSuite` counts them against Hadoop's number. The remaining
credentials are read only when resolution fails, so the error message and the
driver log are still redacted against all of them. A second test pins that: a
client secret that only the failure path reads still comes out as `<redacted>`.
