Review Comment:
[P1] Import `Literal` before using it in the new guard. The explicit
Catalyst expression imports omit
`org.apache.spark.sql.catalyst.expressions.Literal`, so this pattern fails
compilation with `not found: type Literal`. This blocks the JVM build and tests
even when existence joins are disabled. Add the missing import or fully qualify
the type.

Evidence: Exact-head CI reproduced this with `./mvnw -B install -DskipTests
-Dmaven.test.skip=true -Pspark-4.1`: operators.scala:2498 reports `not found:
type Literal`. The Spark 3.4 compilation and Spark 4.1 execution jobs report
the same error. Build log:

Review Comment:
[P2] Use an expected-fallback directive for the `MERGE` cases. Plain `query`
calls `checkSparkAnswerAndOperator`, which requires native execution, but these
hints select an existence `SortMergeJoin` that this PR deliberately leaves in
Spark. Once compilation is fixed, this case fails the native-operator assertion
and stops the fixture despite correct results. Change the sort-merge cases to
`query expect_fallback(Unsupported join type)` so they verify the intended
behavior.

Evidence: Fresh Spark 4.1.3 probes of this exact query returned ids [1, 2,
3] and selected `SortMergeJoin ... ExistenceJoin` with AQE both enabled and
disabled. At this head, CometSortMergeJoinExec.convert rejects that join type
at operators.scala:3029. CometSqlFileTestSuite.scala:155–156 routes plain
queries to the native assertion, and CometTestBase.scala:619–626 rejects
remaining Spark operators. This is a source-confirmed assertion conflict; the
full Comet fixture could not run because of the compilation failure.
