@comphead for a deadlock situation a failing test with say a minute of timeout should suffice ? I wanted to add a test but I think that timeout based test cases make the testcases flaky. Another way to make thsi testable is I can add a unit test for the join state machine to manually check for correct expected states (poor coverage). -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
