attempting to install git for windows via UserData in a cloudformation
template causes the install to throw a registry error, and the install fails
since this is a non interactive install, there is no way to disregard or
respond to the error message
Message box (Abort/Retry/Ignore):
Error creating registry key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Console\Git Bash
RegCreateKeyEx failed; code 1021.
Cannot create a stable subkey under a volatile
parent key.
Click Retry to try again, Ignore to proceed
anyway, or Abort to cancel installation.
