Hi, to my knowledge, the current release scripts build the artifacts, store them temporarily in the jenkins build workspace, and then upload them (it's a two builds process). The next release build wipes the workspace and starts clean.
Word of advice, if you want some change to the current release process, contribute your time or hardware to get it done. The signatures seem like something which could be automated, either by an interested party doing a pull request, or by someone sponsoring a commercial support provider to have it done on their behalf.
