Ha yes you are correct, what I mean are the keywords that belong to a service
(for example teh WMS service) that belong to a specific workspace (dont know if
workspace is the correct term, since the enviroment I am using is in Dutch and
the term used is Omgeving)
For example the workspace/omgeving ApiTest can have specific workspace
keywords, title and abstract as shown below and this is what I would like toe
dit via the API.

The reason for editing the workspace/omgeving is to have a coherent
capabilities document that describe the services and underlaying layer properly
and eventualy to import the capabilitites document to a catalogus (Geonetwork)

there is indeed no such a thing as keywords on a workspace.
Just out of curiosity, why would you want to add some?

the only modification possible to a workspace it to change the name, using the
/workspace/{workspaceName} end point.
I was wondering if more workspace properties can be set/changed this way.
I did try the following body:

<keywords>
<string>Trefwoord1</string>
<string>Trefwoord2</string>
<string>Trefwoord3</string>
</keywords>
</workspace>
But despite getting a 200 http response I dont see the new keywords on the
geoserver instance.
Any help would be appreciatted.
