please, keep the discussion on the GeoServer users mailing list so any
other user/dev can provide additional assistance or feedbacks on the topic
if available.
In reference to "translate to N and rotate NE", are you doing any
reprojection on the WMS getMap call?
How did you set the SRS handling in your layer configuration?
In case the problem still exist, you can open a JIRA with a minimal set of
samples and a few instructions on how to configure the layer, in order to
replicate the issue.
