Dear GeoServer users,
I would like to add/publish new layers to GeoServer using the Python script
hook on the Scripting community extension. The Python script will be installed
as either an app (callable from http) or a web procesing service. This script
will be able to use the GeoTools lib to automatically create new shapefiles or
publish new raster layers from a GeoTIFF data source.
How can we reference the name of the layer to be created in the Python script?
Could we probably say "store:newlayer" (which does not exist) in the script? A
working example will be really helpful?
