Hi,
When reuploading a shapefile with a changed schema (additional attribute)
to a postgis datastore like this:
/rest/workspaces/cite/datastores/postgis/file.shp?update=overwrite&charset=UTF-8
I receive a 201 created response, but the PostGIS table is not changed. The
new attribute nor the additional records are added to the PostGIS table.
The response suggests that the data has been changed in the PostGIS table.
This issue has been addressed

earlier in the user email list, but I could not find anything else on it.
Any suggestions or comments are more then welcome.
