The element you're mapping is "{urn:x-inspire:specification:gmlas:Addresses:
3.0}Address" regardless of what schema you are pointing at in the
configuration. In your case, I can see no substantial reason to prefer
http://www.locationframework.eu/schemas/Addresses/0.1/Addresses.xsd over
http://inspire.ec.europa.eu/schemas/ad/3.0/Addresses.xsd.

Anyway, I also had issues trying to build a mapping with a schema
containing no elements, just imports (in my case it was GeoSciML 3.2), so I
investigated a bit and opened a JIRA ticket:
https://osgeo-org.atlassian.net/browse/GEOT-5194

Keep an eye on the ticket if you're interested in seeing this fixed.
