Dear Community, I want to make use of the WMS - Time Parameter feature. I would like to update daily water quality data. With that feature there would be additional value. Irregularities could be visualized in a nice way, like the example with the snow coverage showed.
As written in this post: http://geo-solutions.blogspot.de/2009/12/adding-time-support-to-geoserver-and.html the feature is available in the current development. So I make use of the version in the trunk. How do I apply this feature correctly? Due to tutorials in the web I found that I need two additional files in the folder that contains the time series. indexer.properties PropertyCollectors=TimestampFileNameExtractorSPI[timeregex](ingestion) timeregex.properties regex=[0-9]{1} Are these settings correct? Which settings do I have to modify? Is the name of the GeoTIFFs important? e.g: 20120331.tif / yyyymmdd.tif I found this documentation on geoserver.org: http://geoserver.org/display/GEOS/Multidimensional+WCS Is there additional documentation that could show me the way how to use that feature? Is it already scheduled when this feature will be officially released? Hope this post is not a doublicate, but I could not find any post that helped me to go on. I appreciate each hint on that topic.
