You might need to specify the geometry column of the underlying
FeatureType, even if it's not used
in the SLD. E.g.
<RasterSymbolizer>
<!-- specify geometry column of FeatureType to pass SLD
validation, even if not actually used -->
<Geometry><ogc:PropertyName>point</ogc:PropertyName></Geometry>
<Opacity>0.8</Opacity>
