GeoServer 2.1.1 had a bug in the layer group defintion GUI that
resulted in groups saved without their native SRS.
This breaks capabilities generation, but not other operations since
the layer group is split into its component layers the moment the
request is parsed.

The easiest fix is to upgrade to 2.1.2 and then re-edit all the
layer groups making sure each one has a SRS definition

Cheers
