Generally spearking this is known as "cascading". Cascading another WMS
server
is supported, as well as cascading another WFS server.
Trying to cascade Google tiles is forbidden by their licensing terms though.
Pay attention to what kind of restrictions are imposed to whatever you're
trying
to cascade
