Hi Marco,
If you use the shapefile upload endpoint [1] this should be computed for you
if the shapefile contains valid crs info (.prj file). If the store already
exists and you are adding a new feature type [2] then again it should be
computed if the shapefile has valid projection info (.prj file) or the
feature type representation you are uploading includes CRS info.
