We are using Geoserver 2.1 and have noticed a problem with watermarks set in
WMS Settings. Some of our base layers do not change very often and are cached
using the inbuilt GeowebCache. However we are using overlays that change on an
hourly basis (point data from PostGIS). We have found that the scaling of the
watermarks are handled differently for non cached tiles, compared to cached
ones. If both layers are cashed, we end up with large watermarks, in the same
positions. If both layers are not cached, we end up with smaller watermarks,
again in the same position. Using one layer cached and another not cached,
results in both sizes of watermarks in different positions. Is there a way
around this problem?
