Checked, GS is able to load one of theese files alone as a geotiff.
Preview in OL looks ok.
The folder is writeable.
I've done a chmod 777 to be sure completely:)
I've tried adding the initial aster tiff's - same error occurs.
So I think I'll try a gdal_translate to 8-bit, and tell you, if that'll
work.
