I apologize for confusion.

What i'm trying to do is to append an extra image to each tile.
When I get a 256x256 tile from geoserver layer i want to put a small gif in
the center of each tile.

I'm aware of ability of putting a watermark onto the layer, but it will not
work since that's the single instance where i would need a 'watermark like'
image on top of each tile.

I guess if there would be a way to say to geoserver to put point at lat/long
or x/y coordinate with some styling.

not sure if this makes more sense.
If not, just disregard it, since i can use imaging software to do the same
thing.
