Hello:
I have uploaded many raster images using the rest api (in the 1000's), and
created layer groups which end up crashing the server when it runs out of
memory. What is the preferred way to load such a large image set in an
automated way. Is it best to produce an image pyramid and load it into a
database then use the JDBC plugin or is there something else I am missing. I
can write the scripts to run gdal tools to create the pyramids, but then how
would I use rest or some other method to get that many images into the
geoserver?
