Hi everybody! I'm back at it again with our GeoServer/GeoNetwork/.NET data warehouse application for Oklahoma. We've been funded to make it "production" quality. One thing that kept bugging us last time was memory issues with Tomcat and Geoserver. I keep hoping that it might be possible to use JRE 64 bit and make these memory problems go away. However, the main stumbling block seems to be that JAI is only 32 bit for Windows, therefore everything needs to be 32 bit, including IIS and JRE. Using the "pure Java" JAI is not recommended in the docs. Any ideas?
Thanks, Roger Bedell, Coordinate Solutions Inc.
