Hi Tim,
thanks for posting the convenient links, Alan's 1990 paper was an Euler go-to,
it's remembered from the earlier days of the Geosoft Euler module.
Stella? There have been several publications the past 25+ years on the Euler
method, some other names that may be references available in the google-able
ether are Salem, Ravat, Fairhead, Keating, Durrheim, Cooper, Fitzgerald and
Phillips and there will be others.
Directly applicable to Geosoft (also) will be the Euler publications of
Phillips. The USGS (Dr. Jeff Phillips) wrote the USGS GX freeware that's
available on-line and which has an Euler routine.
I don't always put the detailed contacts on general knowledge blog posts but
they're listed below where I can be contacted any time (when in range of a
mobile phone tower). Running Euler routines are fun and often useful! As are
other depth determination and modeling methods.
Cheers,
Ed

alot of papers on Euler Deconvolution. To the best our knowledge, the Geosoft
implementation uses conventional Euler as described in Reid et al (1990)
supplemented with extended Euler as described in Mushayandebvu et al (2001).

Alan Reid has published at least a couple references on Euler you can
google his name with Euler and see what's available on line. Geosoft had a good
PDF file of it's Euler module a few years ago, it might still be in the Geosoft
help section as a guided learning path or under some other name. Ed On
