Couple of quick questions though:
1.) Nmap from outside your network, or just the box with shoutcast?
2.) Direct connection to the internet or not.
a.) If not directly connected to internet, open port on router
b.) If directly connected iptables -A INPUT -p tcp --dport 8000 -j
ACCEPT
