Well.. as a gentoo newbie, I can say autounmask made my life much easier. Of course the error has been mine: I should have used the 'pretend' switch and look closer to the list...
However, I don't think I would have noticed much: don't blame me, but many emerge aspects are still alien beasts to me :-)
