I've had this installed:
{acpi debug doc kernel_linux modules multilib opengl qt3}
Installed versions: 9.6(1)(02:57:47 07/15/09)(acpi kernel_linux -debug)
I ran 'emerge sync' as suggested.
Now I cannot recompile ati-drivers 9.6:

I've had this video card for 6 months and all has been fine
until recently...
ideas?
