Overlay ebuilds are for testing. You have no guarantee they are compatible with what is in the tree. > Will I need to rebuild > again? In an ideal world, you shouldn't have to. There is no direct connection between an overlay and the tree, it's like this for all overlays. If konqueror-4.2.2-r42 from the overlay is added to the tree, it is added as konqueror-4.2.2. Why?
