[gentoo-user] digikam, gtkam,... what's else?

digikam (during this KDE3-to-KDE4 epoch) can not be installed (see Gentoo bugs 
related to 'digikam'), gtkam shows PTP I/O error... Is there other software I 
have missed? I have Canon ixus 40 camera.
