Hey, thanks much.  That works VERY well.  It even works when it is
mounted automatically by KDE.  No more manual mounting for it to work. 
Wooooooo Hoooooooo !!!!!!  It looks like this when it mounts now which I
think is how it should be.

/dev/hdd on /media/Data_2008.11.07-08.56.32_1 type udf
(rw,nosuid,nodev,uhelper=hal,uid=1000)
