First to be sure show us the output of # emerge -pv mozilla-firefox totem If that doesn't show any problems you'll have to find the error message in /var/tmp/portage/media-video/totem-2.18.2/work/totem-2.18.2/config.log . If unable to find the relevant lines from it yourself you can attach the entire file after compressing it with gzip or bzip2... -- Bo Andresen
