Hi, I never stumbled across this, because I mostly use DHCP for my network setup.
It looks like it's not possible setting the domainname on Gentoo using dns_domain_eth0="foobar" or dns_domain="foobar" In /etc/conf.d/net.eth0 or /etc/conf.d/net This variable seems to be just ignored and I couldn't track down so far where exactly this happens. Did anyone experience this too and knows how to make it work again? I'm using baselayout-1.12.9-r2 Regards, Elias P. -- A really nice number: "09:F9:11:02:9D:74:E3:5B:D8:41:56:C5:63:56:88:C0"
