now). Recently I have switch from CRT to LCD monitor. As a result, bolded
variant
looks awful. Apparently, simple horizontal "condensing" of TTF isn't right way,
instead
font must be "native".
You'll find on that juicy new LCD you can tollerate much smaller fonts :)
Ive developed a preference for Bitstream Vera Sans ( 7 ) for everything, except
fixedwidth: Bitstream Vera Sans Mono (8)
Window: 20th Century Font ( 7 : looks good bold and small, tho unf i
dont know where i got it )
Taskbar: Bitstream Vera sans ( 6 , yes.. 6 .. thats 6 pixels... count them ;) )
