this is the result of the relevant part of lsusb -v:
You mentioned that the mouse still works. Assuming you are running X,
please switch to VT1 before plugging in the device. If you are
actually experiencing a kernel oops, the stack trace will be written
to vt1.
Actually the mouse is _SOMETIMES_ working. Most of the times
everything hangs up...
However, i'll have a look.
