You know Winnie the Pooh right? That lovable bear who is the namesake of the books by A.A. Milne? Christopher Robin? Tigger and Eeyore? More recently he has been hijacked and corrupted by Disney (..just my opinion). In any event, he would often say 'bother', as others might say 'rats' or 'darn' ie: when something trying happens. I think the sig is just a play on this coupled with Pooh trying to connect with a slow modem connection.. -d -- darren kirby :: Part of the problem since 1976 :: http://badcomputer.org "...the number of UNIX installations has grown to 10, with more expected..." - Dennis Ritchie and Ken Thompson, June 1972 -- gentoo-user@gentoo.org mailing list
