Try this: /usr/share/doc/tetex-*/latex/beamer/beameruserguide.pdf. There are also some examples. I suggest to read also the pgfuserguide in order to include pictures in your presentation: /usr/share/doc/tetex-*/latex/pgf/pgfuserguide.pdf.
