I've been running ~amf64 for over two years with no real problems. There was a shortage of packages at first, but that was mainly due to a lack of testing. Keywording packages and filing bug reports when they worked helped with this. This system is now as stable (as in reliable, I still run ~amd64 so it's far from unchanging) as my x86 boxen. -- Neil Bothwick [unwieldy legal disclaimer would go here - feel free to type your own]
