During installation after chroot, I ran; # ls -l /usr/src/linux lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root ...... /usr/src/linux -> linux-2.6.17-gentoo-r7 I used it as kernel version. B.R. SL -- gentoo-user@gentoo.org mailing list
