Googleearth will be very slow without opengl acceleration, so you
probably want to stick with the nvidia driver.

You should verify that DRI is being activated with glxinfo (should
see: "direct rendering: Yes".  Also make sure that "eselect opengl
list" shows nvidia as the selected implementation.
