On bgo, I found http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=78385 which suggests
to make sure that RgbPath is correct in /etc/X11/xorg.conf.
It is correct, I think:
RgbPath "/usr/share/X11/rgb"
Well, mine looks different:
====================
Section "Files"
RgbPath "/usr/lib/X11/rgb"
Is there such a file? On my system, there isn't.
[EMAIL PROTECTED] ~ $ ls -la /usr/lib/X11/rgb*
ls: /usr/lib/X11/rgb*: Datei oder Verzeichnis nicht gefunden
Trying it your way:
That's not "my" way :) If it is anybodys way, it's the way
of the Gentoo dev who allowed the rgb package to put its
file there, as /usr/share/X11/rgb.txt is owned by rgb-1.0.0.
====================
# ls -la /usr/share/X11/rgb
ls: /usr/share/X11/rgb: No such file or directory
====================
HTH
Thanks.
