Hey all, When I try to play music using XMMS a variety of things happen:
if XMMS is set to use OSS, it complains it can't open the oss driver the same thing happens if I attempt to use ALSA. if I configure XMMS to use ARTS the song appears to play, but I don't hear any sound. I've got the cable plugged in, ;) ... I'm running kernel version 2.6.15. I've got alsa compiled in... I've checked that libALSA.so and libarts.so etc are on the system in /usr/bin/XMMS... Does anyone have any ideas as to what might be happening... Oh and I have compiled in support for my SoundBlaster soundcard. Thank you, Shawn Singh -- gentoo-user@gentoo.org mailing list
