What do I need to turn off in kde-3.5 so that mounted or umounted devices never show up on my desktop window?
After having been mounting and umounting stuff via cifs and connecting external drives by usb I have a full dozen Icons on my desktop that offer no delete item on right click menu. How do I get rid of them and keep them from coming back. I've cleared all boxes at kcontrol/Desktop/Behavior/Device icons (and file icons) These icons don't show up under ~/Desktop -- gentoo-user@gentoo.org mailing list
