Sata drives I am thrilled with are: Seagate Barracuda 7200.8 ST3300831AS 300GB 7200 RPM
At $131, seems to be good value for money. Quiet, good reputation. Western Digital Raptor WD740GD 74GB 10,000 RPM I have two of these set up in software RAID0. Lightening fast, quiet given the speed. Expensive, but in my opinion, worth it. I see they have come out with 150GB. I'd better hold on to my pocketbook. Bill Roberts On 20:50 Sun 08 Jan , Brett I.
