one called "poke" and "peek"....works on all unixes i've found so far. pretty inexpensive, but not free. peek allows you to watch, and the "poke" part lets you take over. or you can use vnc with a particular argument to share the :0 display.

I find the use of such tools questionable at best, anyway, there used to
be a tool called ttysnoop or something similar, google is your friend.
