I have an athlon xp > 2600+, and if I'm not mistaken, it happened before 2.6.13 > Me too. I have to double check, but I also believe it happens when it is going to sync the clocks. I am using 2.6.13. It might have started happening when I began to use this kernel, though I didn't keep good notes on that.
