Issues can still appear, for which you can search bugzilla, and report yourself if not there. If gcc 15 is stable for your arch, there ought to be less issues, I guess. Portage won't trigger old versions out of the blue. Even when upgrading is prevented, portage can AFAIK only build from what is in the tree.
