I usually use it. When I've tried to use systemrescuecd, I usually ran into issues: you couldn't follow the handbook step-by-step and expect it to work (IIRC, something to do with chroot?). There were fairly simple work-arounds, but it took time to figure out what was wrong and what to do about it. -- Grant
