I wasn't sure about it either. I was hoping it would provide kernel modules that could be used or something like that. Might be worth installing and then doing a equery f alsa-oss and see just what it does include. If it won't help, uninstall and hope for another option. Surely there is a way to do this, somewhere. :/ Dale :-) :-)
