I'm debugging some code that reads from ifstream. When running in GDB, a file loading routing fails, whereby it would appear that the ifstream.eof() works improperly (it keeps reading past the end of the file).
Searching around the net yielded a couple of posts in forums regarding a bug in GDB that could cause this issue. I am wondering if a version of GDB that is no so afflicted is currently available in portage. -- Justin W. Hart -- gentoo-user@gentoo.org mailing list
