My kernel is 2.6.12-gentoo-r9, but emerge --info reports the os-headers as 2.6.11-r2. I was able to trace the os-headers info back to the sys-kernel/linux-headers package, which it seems the most recent is 2.6.11-r2. Why the difference? Does it matter?
