I am currently setting up some linux pc's for my
old high school. I am running fluxbox and have a default user account
which fluxbox loads from so no configs are saved to the home
directories. This also prevents the users from changing menu options,
backgrounds and such permently.
What I am aiming to do is:
A) have the config file saved to the default user account and not the users home directory.
B) have a "dynamic" icon that allows the user to mount or unmount their flash drives.
I am currently using fbdesk which allows me to specify the config
file though I havent manage to find any documentation regarding this.
I have been looking at IDesk but I cant see any documentation
regarding letting you to specify a different location to the Idesk
config file other then under a users home directory.
