Hi Elias, According to 'euse -i d', the 'd' flag only shows up for '=sys-devel/gcc-3.4.6-r2' and '=sys-devel/gcc-4.1.2'. I'm assuming you are using a newer version of gcc that doesn't have the d use flag. My sugesstion would be to look for a portage overlay that has the D compiler. Anton mentioned the Digital Mars D Compiler (dev-lang/dmd) at sunrise overlay, so you might want to take a look at that. A quick search also showed a wiki page on ldc [1], although I'm not sure how reliable/legit it is.
